The flexibility of the Billet Thermoforming System allows you to adapt the
system to your packaging requirements, including specific shapes and deep draw
applications not feasible with conventional, roll-fed thermoforming processes.
In addition, our prototype manufacturing system is capable of producing sample
and small pre-production runs. In addition to the current liner business, PBM
continues to develop applications in the medical, industrial, consumer and food

PBM Plastic’s commercial line of products includes both
4 oz. and 8 oz. private label infant formula baby bottle liners. Sold in
connection with PBM Product’s line of Infant Formula, the baby bottle
liner business is currently a core component of our product line. |

DISPENSING SYSTEMS
Dispensing sealants and adhesives can
sometimes become a “sticky” issue, but relief is on the horizon. PBM
Plastics can provide you with clear, flexible, collapsible liners with a
rigid lip to simplify filling, and collapsible for ease of dispensing. Our
patented Melt Phase Thermoforming technology enables us to provide
thin-wall, deep draw, non-barrier and barrier containers and liners.

RETORT FISH CONTAINER
The virtual elimination of stress as the container is
formed is the key to our success for retort applications. Uniform
sidewalls and a container shape produced from the billet gives PBM an
advantage compared to standard thermoforming technologies. Under
melt-phase conditions the billet expands freely to fill the mold cavity
for this deeper draw container. Development programs are underway for both
heat sealable and double seamable closures to complete the package. |

CLEAR ASEPTIC OR RETORT CUP
Multilayer co-extruded containers provide the oxygen barrier needed for
shelf stability. With the melt-phase process we are able to produce cups
that can meet either the aseptic or retort requirements of your
application. Both wall thickness and flange uniformity play a critical
role in the use of either plastic or foil lidstock as well as metal double
seam lids. |

COFFEE CANISTER
PACK
This application surfaced in a continuing effort to develop alternative
packaging for current products. With the use of the one way valve in the
foil lidstock this flexible, barrier coffee canister with a rigid flange
opening provides a “clear” alternative to the more difficult to handle
pouch. Open and drop into your coffee canister for a user friendly answer
to current packaging. |

BREAST PUMP
LINERS
As an obvious extension of the infant formula baby
bottle liner is the breast pump liner which requires the additional
feature of cold temperature impact for refrigerated storage. Modification
of the base resin profile adds the needed strength this application
requires. With the addition of a specially designed cap the liner
transforms into a container for future use. |
